The ongoing protests in Hong Kong have spilled over into Hong Kong International Aiport, forcing the airport to cancel all flights on Monday.

Thousands of pro-democracy protesters swarmed the airport’s main terminal, staging a massive sit-in and disrupting operations.

Protests have been going on for more than two months as citizens call for democratic reforms and an investigation into police corruption.

The Hong Kong police have threatened to use water cannons on protesters if the demonstrations continue.
