The FBI is investigating threats made by a 38-year-old truck driver after he was arrested for threatening to commit a mass shooting inside a Memphis, Tennessee church. Thomas Matthew McVicker was apprehended in Indiana before he could carry out his plans on August 22nd.

McVicker’s mother says that her son is schizophrenic, uses cocaine and meth and owns a handgun. A friend says that although McVicker uses a Florida address, he actually lives in his semi-truck. His arrest comes as the FBI and local authorities take any threats of mass harm seriously in the wake of the recent mass shootings in the United States.
