Senate leader Mitch McConnell is calling on the Trump administration to end the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Northern Syria.

McConnell says he will introduce a Senate resolution that condemns Turkey’s military operations and warns of “the grave consequences of U.S. withdrawal”.

The resolution will also urge Trump to reconsider inviting Turkish President Erdogan to visit the White House in November.
