For the first time in almost ten years, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments around a gun control case today.

Oral arguments will get underway over a challenge to a New York City law that prevented people from taking their handgun outside city limits.

The law was repealed, however, its merits will still be argued before the high court.
