An expectant mother got quite the surprise at her baby shower when one of the gifts turned out not to be what it seemed.

According to Veronica Alvarez-Rodriguez, she purchased an “unopened” Baby Einstein Activity Jumper from a Goodwill Store in Florida.

But inside somehow was a Mossberg 715T semi-automatic rifle, which Alvarez-Rodriguez joked on Facebook, “The gun now belongs to Baby Jonathan, who is due to enter this world any day now.”

The Crestview Police Department is investigating, while the company has donated a new infant-bouncer to the family.
