In the latest DVD installment starring everyone's furry friend, Elmo is preparing a huge celebration for his pet fish Dorothy's birthday. Sesame Street's resident fairy in training, Abby Cadabby, wants to help out, but she has only been to Fairytale Land birthday parties. Elmo teaches Abby about customary birthday traditions such as pinning the tail on the donkey, hitting the piñata, and opening presents and in return, Abby takes Elmo on an exciting journey to Fairytale Land to share some of her traditions. The two magically "poof" to Little Red Riding Hood's birthday party, complete with amusing games like "Fetch A Pail of Water," "Pull The Plum Out of the Pie" and much more! Surrounded by friends and enjoying fun parties, Elmo learns the true meaning of a birthday wish.
Children will be delighted when they discover when Elmo was born and celebrate his first birthday in the episode "Elmo's World: Birthdays," also included in the DVD.
