Story by 89 WLS reporter Bill Cameron
(CHICAGO) At City Hall, the baby murder drew together an unusual gathering for a press conference.
Six aldermen stood with ex-gangbanger Gator Bradley. Former cop, now alderman, Willie Cochran said he talked by phone with street gang leaders who he would not name, to demand they stop harboring child killers. Or, as Gator Bradley put it, “We’re saying nobody can be protected that are responsible for killing that little baby or killing any other children. Nobody can be protected! You can’t hide them. You follow what I am saying? It is not acceptable!”
As interesting as anything was the fact that six aldermen were standing with Gator Bradley, legitimizing the ex-gangbanger.
