Bill Daley was sounding like a candidate for governor at the City Club this afternoon.
Bill Daley says Governor Quinn is a decent guy and a true White Sox fan, but somebody needs to set up and provide the leadership to solve the states big problems like its big debt, "I believe the people of Illinois are hungry for leadership that says of course we can solve the pension problem and then make our schools stronger. We're willing to take on the tough issues because the problems of our state must not stand in the way of the potential of our state."
Bill Daley is playing it coy about whether he'll run in 2014, but today he took a step closer to saying why he might run.
