The latest parlor game in Illinois politics is whether two heavyweight Democratic families will square off in next year's gubernatorial primary.

Talk of a family feud between the Daleys and the Madigans in the 2014 democratic primary for governor is all the rage: Bill Daley versus Lisa Madigan.

So would it be an issue for Lisa if her father Mike is still Speaker of the House? Senator Dick Durbin says yes, "He is a powerful factor when it comes to solutions. So, it is an issue and a question that's gonna be raised. How can you be a governor daughter-of situation? And if Lisa decides to go forward, she will have to face that."

But while taping 'Connected to Chicago' Durbin said he doesn't think Madigans as both governor and speaker would be a conflict of interest.
