Concealed carry is coming to Illinois.

The debate in Springfield hearings today in the Illinois House was over how to regulate it.

Concealed carry sponsor State Representative Brandon Phelps tangled with Lee Goodman of the organization called Stop Concealed Carry, "Every state that has concealed carry, crime has not increased. Crime has not increased!"

Goodman responded saying, "And if you want to look at the studies that say cigarettes don't cause cancer, and if you want to look at the studies that say global warming is a fiction – you can look at only those studies and feel very good about yourself. But if you want to look at the truth, you have to look at all of the studies!"

And he claimed all of the studies show the more guns you have in a state, the more gun injuries you have.
