Mayor Emanuel said over the weekend "No, no, no, no, no" he's not running for president, but he had a possible Freudian slip about that today.

Whaddya think? Did Rahm Emanuel declare for President this afternoon? He was at Jones College Prep High School. The mayor was praising the local school council's student member, Silas Woods III, when he said this, "I understand now why you were elected to be the student member on the LSC. It's my understanding why you've decided to primary me in 2016."

Well 2016 is the date of the next presidential election. The next election for mayor is 2015.

The mayor was probably being too clever for his own good, but if he does run for president, he's already got a secret service codename. At this same event, he revealed his codename as he revealed the codename he's given his school Ceo Barbara Byrd-Bennet, "I called B-3. That's her code name. Blackhawk's mine in the secret service and hers is B-3."

In any case, Blackhawk once did sign a page in a Sun-Times reporters notebook that says, "I Rahm Emanuel will not run for another office."

I wonder.
