CHICAGO (AP) - Police have arrested the estranged husband of a Cicero woman who was strangled and found dead inside the trunk of a car in 2005.

James Murry was arrested by Cook County Sheriff's police and Cicero detectives in Toledo, Ohio, where he was living. He was extradited and appeared in bond court Saturday.

His friend Travon McDonald was arrested Dec. 20 after he was paroled from the Logan Correctional Facility in Lincoln, where he served a sentence in an unrelated case.

The Cook County Sheriff's office said Saturday both men are charged with murder and being held without bond. The victim, Nayely Murry, was 23.

Starting in October, the Cook County Sheriff's Cold Case unit helped re-interview people familiar with the case and reviewed phone data that led to the arrests.
