(CHICAGO) The First Lady is in town to join Mayor Rahm Emanuel. They’re promoting his plan to collect $50 million from Chicago’s business and philanthropic community to help at-risk youth.
It’s a big part of Emanuel’s four ideas to combat street violence.
“I kinda approach all this from what I say is the four p’s. -- strategic policing, smart prevention, stiffer penalties and sensitive parenting,” Emanuel said.
Michelle Obama’s visit will promote smart prevention and sensitive parenting.
