(CRYSTAL LAKE) Four men have been charged with breaking into a Crystal Lake home this month and attacking a resident.
William Kindall, Jonathan Kindall, Philip Dawson and Ryan Johnson forced their way into a home in the 0-100 block of East Terra Cotta Avenue in Crystal Lake on Feb. 6 and battered a resident, according to a Crystal Lake police release.
The four then stole items from the home and fled on foot, police said.
Two of the men were initially chased down by responding officers, police said. The other two were arrested Thursday.
William Kindall, 21, and Jonathan Kindall, 20, both of Woodstock, Dawson, 26, of Crystal Lake, and Johnson, 22, of Crystal Lake were each charged with one count each of felony residential burglary, felony robbery, felony mob action, felony unlawful possession of cannabis and misdemeanor battery, police said.
All four suspects were ordered held on $80,000 bond and remain in McHenry County Jail Friday evening.
