A DuPage County judge Thursday agreed to cut the bail for three Schaumburg cops accused of stealing illegal drugs seized during arrests.

Tactical officers Terrance O'Brien, John Cichy and Matthew Hudak were arrested Jan. 16 by DuPage County and federal authorities. All had been held in lieu of $750,000 cash bail. Fawell set the new cash bails at $25,000 for Cichy, $30,000 for O'Brien and $35,000 for Hudak. If they make bail, all three would be required to wear electronic monitoring devices.

Cichy and O'Brien resigned Tuesday, while Hudak resigned last week, Fritz said. All had been placed on leave following their arrests.

The three are accused of skimming cocaine and marijuana confiscated during arrests, then reselling the drugs through a street dealer.
