WASHINGTON (AP) - It's the last day on the job for Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.

When Geithner became Treasury secretary in January 2009, he inherited many grave financial threats.

The economy had sunk into a deep recession, unemployment was surging, stock prices were sinking and the financial system was teetering.
