An unemployed Chicago man was held on $50,000 bail Sunday for allegedly spitting on a U.S. Secret Service agent who was guarding President Barack Obama’s house last month.

 

Kevin Lawrence, 46, of the 5200 block of South Harper, was charged with aggravated battery of a peace officer, according to court records.

 

Lawrence is accused of spitting into the agent’s vehicle on Dec. 29 in the 5000 block of South Greenwood, hitting the agent in the face and neck. records show.
