CTA Blue Line trains are on the move again Tuesday morning after delays from a “track condition” held up service near the Harlem station.

Service was restored around 6:10 a.m. and no residual delays are expected, according to CTA spokesman Steve Mayberry.

Trains in both directions were temporarily operating on the same track between the Cumberland and Jefferson Park stations early Tuesday, according to a CTA alert.

It is not yet known whether the cold temperatures caused the delays, Mayberry said.

Trains on the CTA’s Blue Line are experiencing delays Tuesday morning because of a “track condition” near the Harlem station.

Trains in both directions are operating on the same track between the Cumberland and Jefferson Park stations, according to a CTA alert. At the Harlem station, riders must board all trains at the Forest Park-bound side of the platform.

Some O’Hare bound trains will end their trips at Jefferson Park and turn back toward downtown, according to a CTA rider alert.

Commuters are advised to allow extra travel time.
