(LEMONT, Ill.) President Obama toured several labratories at Argonne National Labratory Friday afteroon.

 

Argonne chief Dr. Eric Isaacs says the goal is a much, much better MPG.

 

"By setting audacious goals, such as a fleet-wide average of 54.5 miles-per-gallon by 2025 - that's a factor of two improvement - President Obama is challenging our scientists and engineers to push the outside of the envelope," Isaacs said.

 

To promote that, the President wants a $2 billion energy security trust fund.
