(CHICAGO) An Orland Park man who taunted police on his motorcycle and posted videos about it, has been sentenced to prison. The Chicago Tribune reports that 23 year old Jason Jachimiec rode his motorcycle through the streets of Orland Park wearing a helmet camera, while speeding, ignoring stop signs, driving over lawns, and taunting police while riding on one wheel.
He uploaded videos of his rides on You Tube with the names “wheelerdrivebandit” and “Orland Ghost Rider”.
Police were able to catch Jachimiec after executing a search warrant on a home last year and gathering evidence that led to his identification as the biker in two separate incidents.
Jachimiec pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges of aggravated fleeing and eluding police. He was sentenced to 18 months in prison with credit for seven months he has already served in the Cook County jail.
Police also say the motorcycle he was riding was stolen.
