Plane makes emergency landing

A small Learjet plane landed safely at Leambert Field in St. Louis.

The plane had experienced problems with its landing gear and was forced to make an emergency landing.

Eight people were on-board.

A small Learjet plane with eight people on-board is preparing for an emergency landing.
 
The plane has reported problems with its landing gear. The FAA is aware of the problem and standing by.
 
The plane had originally planned on landing at Cahokia airport in Illinois, but is now headed towards Lambert Field in St. Louis.
 
Emergency equipment is on standby.
