For the second time this week, a man wearing a Spider-Man mask robbed a store on the Northwest Side.
The suspect entered a store about 7 p.m. in the 3700 block of North Harlem Avenue, police said.
He displayed a handgun, gave a bag to the cashier and demanded money, police said.
The suspect was last seen wearing a red and blue Spider-Man mask, a hooded sweatshirt and dark pants, police said.
On Tuesday, a man wearing a Spider-man mask robbed a 7-11 in the 2700 block of North Harlem Avenue in the Montclare neighborhood about 5 a.m. on Tuesday, according to police News Affairs Officer Laura Kubiak.
He displayed a handgun and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, Kubiak said.
No injuries were reported and no one is in custody for either robbery as Area Central Detectives investigate.
