Three passengers on a Chicago-bound flight from New Orleans Wednesday morning were injured when the plane hit some turbulence.
There were 18 passengers and a crew of four on American Eagle flight No. 3720 when it hit some turbulence en route from New Orleans to Chicago, according to American Airlines spokeswoman Mary Frances Fagan. Flight No. 3720, a Bombardier CRJ-700, departed from New Orleans at 7:27 a.m. and arrived at O'Hare International Airport at 9:31 a.m., she said.
Fire Department personnel met the plane when it arrived at O'Hare and looked at three passengers who were complaining of head injuries, according to Fire Media Affairs. One of them was taken to a hospital with non-serious injuries and the other two refused further treatment.
