9/92 to present, WLS Radio talk show host of The Nate Clay Show; covering a wide range of topical issues, show is broadcast to over 40 states.

5/94 to present, EDITOR, "Tech Talk" newsletter, a quarterly publication of Revlon Products.

2/81 to 4/91, EDITOR, Chicago Metro News, weekly publication which I now own: was responsible for overseeing the work of nine employees, writing articles, assigning photographers, and layout.

10/80 to 7/81, OFFICE OF CONGRESSMAN HAROLD WASHINGTON, served as director of communications; duties included writing speeches, press releases, articles and synopsis of critical issues, particularly those affecting Chicago's First Congressional District.

8/79 to 9/80, OPERATION PUSH, Director of Communications; traveled extensively with Rev. Jesse Jackson; duties included supervising a staff of six, writing speeches, press releases, etc. for Rev. Jackson.

8/77 to 8/79, ILLINOIS BELL Public Relations Manager; began as assistant editor of house organ, promoted to editor in six months; duties included generation, coverage, writing and editing of stories for twice-monthly publication and writing articles for the general media about outstanding Bell people and products.

5/75 to 8/77, CHICAGO DEFENDER: General Assignment Reporter/Asst. City Editor: Duties included writing an average of two stories a day; assigned to the crime beat, covered police and courtroom developments; began weekly "Clay Images" column of political and social issues.

9/74 to 5/75 NIAGARA GAZETTE (Niagara Falls, N.Y.): General assignment reporter; duties included covering general news and minority affairs; wrote two to three stories a day, plus weekend features.
