WEATHER: Cold, snow flurries

(CHICAGO) It stays cold throughout the week, and even a little colder at times! The next clipper arrives later today bringing in more rounds of snow. Accumulations, however, look to remain on the lighter side.

Today|Partly cloudy skies this morning will give way to occasional snow showers during the afternoon. High 31F. Winds SW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 40%.

Tonight|Rain and snow this evening becoming lighter overnight. Increasing winds late. Low 29F. Winds WSW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of precip 50%. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.

Tomorrow|Cloudy skies. A few flurries or snow showers possible. Temps nearly steady in the mid 30s. Winds W at 15 to 25 mph.

Tomorrow night|Cloudy. Low 29F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph.

Wednesday|Mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the low 30s and lows in the mid teens.

Thursday|A few clouds. Highs in the low 20s and lows in the low teens.

Friday|Morning clouds followed by afternoon sun. Highs in the mid 20s and lows in the mid teens.

Saturday|Considerable cloudiness. Highs in the low 30s and lows in the low 20s.

Today|Intervals of clouds and sunshine. High 61F. Winds WSW at 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight|A mostly clear sky. Low 44F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph.

Tomorrow|Abundant sunshine. Highs in the upper 60s and lows in the mid 40s.

Monday|Mainly sunny. Highs in the upper 50s and lows in the low 40s.

Tuesday|Showers possible in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 50s and lows in the upper 40s.

Wednesday|A few thunderstorms possible. Highs in the upper 50s and lows in the upper 40s.

Thursday|Showers possible in the afternoon. Highs in the low 60s and lows in the low 50s.

A strong cold front will produce windy and wet conditions today….

**Lakeshore Flood Advisory from 1:00 pm today to 4:00 a.m. Sunday. Waves will build to 8-12 feet later today.**

Today | Becoming windy with thunderstorms likely. High near 70F early; temperatures will fall into the 50s this afternoon. N winds at 10 to 20 mph, increasing to 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 100%.

Tonight | Rain and wind early…then remaining cloudy with showers overnight. Low 44F. Winds NNE at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 70%. Rainfall near a half an inch.

Tomorrow | Intervals of clouds and sunshine. High near 55F. Winds NNE at 15 to 25 mph.

Monday | Partly cloudy. Highs in the low 60s and lows in the mid 40s.

Tuesday | Sunshine. Highs in the upper 60s and lows in the low 50s.
