(Chicago) Attorney General Eric Holder was in Chicago for a roundtable with community leaders and police to talk about building trust after Ferguson.
At the Dirksen Federal Building with Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel at his side, Holder’s comments for the cameras were vague, “We really do have to look at our criminal justice system writ large because the question of faith goes there. And if people do not have faith in the criminal justice system, we will not have the kind of America that we want.”
He said so in a rigidly controlled media event. Reporters were herded in, not permitted to ask questions nor even cover the roundtable.
