(CHICAGO) A man has been charged with stabbing a woman to death during a domestic incident Sunday on the Far South Side.

Chris Moore, 57, is charged with first-degree murder for the death of 48-year-old Janice Coleman, authorities said.

Officers were called about noon Sunday to a home in the 11300 block of South Parnell, where Coleman was found dead, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

An autopsy on Monday found she died of multiple stab wounds and her death was ruled a homicide.

Police said the murder is domestic-related, but did not provide additional details.

Moore, of the 11100 block of South Lowe, is scheduled to appear in bond court Tuesday.
