(ROLLING MEADOWS) A 47-year-old bicyclist was killed in a crash on Friday in northwest suburban Rolling Meadows.
Konrad Tomaski was hit by a vehicle and pronounced dead at 1:27 p.m. at the scene of the accident near Golf and New Wilke roads in Rolling Meadows, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Tomaski lived about three miles away in the 200 block of Miner Street in Arlington Heights, authorities said.
Rolling Meadows police said the the driver remained at the scene and no charges had been filed as of Tuesday morning. The case remains under investigation.
