Female attacked, kidnapped near West Side CTA station

(CHICAGO) Chicago Police have issued a community alert after a female was attacked and kidnapped near a West Side CTA train Saturday morning.

About 8:45 a.m., a female — whose age was not disclosed — exited a CTA train in the 2100 block of South Pulaski. She was approached by a man who hit her in the back of the head and dragged her into an abandoned building nearby, police said.

She sustained “multiple injuries,” but police did not specify.

Her attacker was described as a black man, between 20 and 25 years old. He standing 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-11 and weighs between 140 and 150 pounds, police said. He has long dreadlocks and was wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and black gym shoes.
