(Anaheim, CA) Jonathan Toews scored two goals in the opening minutes, and the Chicago Blackhawks skate into the Stanley Cup Finals with a 5-3 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday night.
The Blackhawks will play for their third NHL championship in six seasons when they face the Tampa Bay Lightning beginning Wednesday night in Florida.
The Michigan Avenue Blackhawks store will open early at 9am Sunday.
Limited quantities of single-game tickets for the “home” games will go on sale Tuesday at 12N via Ticketmaster.
Games 1 and 2 of The Steanley Cup Finals series are Wednesday (7PM) and Saturday (615PM) in Tampa.The series moves to Chicago next Monday (June 8, 7PM) and Wednesday (June 10, 7PM). Game 5, if necessary, is in Tampa (June 13, 7PM) and game 6, if needed, is back in Chicago (June 15, 7PM). If a game seven is requried, it will be Wednesday, June 17, 7PM in Tampa Bay. .
