(CHICAGO) A man is in custody in connection to a fatal stabbing outside a Target in the North Side Uptown neighborhood Sunday night.

The man, described only as an adult, was stabbed in the neck at 9:45 p.m. during an argument in the 4400 block of North Broadway, police said. He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he later died, police said.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office could not confirm the death early Sunday.
In a tweet late Sunday, Ald. James Cappleman said the fight happened over socks outside the Uptown Target, located at 4466 N. Broadway.

A 58-year-old man was in police custody as of early Monday, police said. Charges had not yet been filed.
