(TINLEY PARK) A man died in a rollover crash in south suburban Tinley Park Sunday afternoon.
Police and paramedics responded to the single-vehicle accident about 1:20 p.m. in the 17500 block of Harlem Avenue, Tinley Park police Sgt. Patrick St. John said.
The man — identified as Tinley Park resident Joseph Lange — was the only person in the vehicle and had to be extricated, according to St. John and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
He was taken to Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, where he later died, authorities said. Lange lived in the 7600 block of 170th Street, the medical examiner’s office said.
St. John said the accident investigation team is still looking into what caused the crash.Lanes were closed for about two hours.
