(CHICAGO) A 10-year-old boy was listed in critical condition after he was hit by a vehicle in the South Shore neighborhood Wednesday evening.
About 5:30 p.m., the boy was hit by a vehicle in the 2000 block of East 75th Street, according to police and fire officials.
The boy was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in critical condition, according to Fire Media Affairs.
A police source said the boy was intentionally struck by the vehicle and a person of interest is in custody.
