Man pulled from Lake Michigan identified

(CHICAGO) A body  pulled from Lake Michigan early Tuesday in the Gold Coast neighborhood has been identified as a 49-year-old Uptown man.

About 6:35 a.m., a pedestrian on the Lakefront Trail in the 800 block of North Lake Shore Drive saw the body in the water, according to Chicago Police.

He was identified as Dionysus W. Ames of the 1000 block of West Lawrence, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
