(ADDISON) A mail truck was hit by a freight train Thursday morning in west suburban Addison.
A Canadian National train hit the semi, which was carrying mail, at the Grace Avenue crossing at 4:48 a.m., according to Addison police.
Grace was closed between North and Belden as of 6 a.m.
It was not immediately clear whether anyone was injured, police said.
