(CHICAGO) The Chicago Cubs play game four of their National League division series this afternoon at Wrigley Field, as they look to close out the St. Louis Cardinals, and move on to the next round of the playoffs.
The Cubs have a two games to one lead over St. Louis in the best of five series. If they win, they will face the winner of the Los Angeles Dodgers-New York Mets series for the National League pennant. If the Cubs lose, the series moves back to St. Louis for the deciding game five on Thursday.
Last night the Cubs broke a major league playoff record for most home runs in one game. They hit six homers as they defeated the Cardinals eight to six.
Jason Hammel (10-7) pitches for the Cubs against the Cardinals John Lackey (13-10). Game time is 3:37 pm.
