(BOLINGBROOK) Two men were found shot to death Monday morning at an automotive supply warehouse in southwest suburban Bolingbrook.
At 9:39 a.m., officers received a call of a shooting in progress at YCB International in the 600 block of Veterans Parkway in Bolingbrook, according to Bolingbrook Police Lt. Carter Larry. YCB is an automotive supply importer.
Xinling Zhang, a 39-year-old man from Naperville, was found dead at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Will County coroner’s office. Degang Zhang, a 48-year-old man from Aurora, was dead with a single gunshot wound.
A gun was found at the scene near one of the victims, and police said no suspects were at large.
Autopsies were scheduled for Tuesday.
“It is unknown if the offender was an employee, we are investigating all possible leads at this time, and have not ruled anything out,” Larry said.
Bolingbrook High School, Jane Addams High School, Independence Elementary and Oak View Elementary were temporarily placed on soft lockdown, according to a statement on the Valley View CUSD 365U website. The lockdown was lifted about 11 a.m. and classes resumed normal schedules.
