(CHICAGO) A federal judge is pushing Chicago attorneys to move faster when it comes to the fight over the George Lucas museum.
A judge says the attorneys must move faster in sorting through documents and getting them to their courtroom counterparts who say the location of the museum along the lakefront is unlawful.
The judge says he’s surprised by how slowly the city has moved given the concern at City Hall that Lucas will move his multi-million dollar museum to another city if litigation drags out.
City attorneys say there are more than 18,000 documents to process and they need more time.
Both sides are due back in court April 12.
