(CHICAGO) Coming to a stretch of the Chicago River near you: Bridge lifts.
Bridge lifts over the Chicago River will continue through April 1st to make sure they’re in working order for the summer.
Expect the bridges to go up between 9:30am and 2:30 pm.
Today, the State Street and Damen Avenue bridges will be raised. Tomorrow, you’ll see the Wabash Avenue Bridge go up, and on Wednesday, it will be the one on Columbus Avenue.
Also – this Thursday, the Michigan Avenue Bridge will shutdown at 10pm and reopen at 5am on April 1st. The Lake Shore Drive Bridge will close the same night – but for a shorter 10pm to 2am stretch.
