(PLAINFIELD) Police are looking for a suspect or suspects who fired shots at a home in southwest suburban Plainfield twice in the last week.
About 6 a.m. Monday, police were called to the 23000 block of Arbor Creek Drive for a report of a drive-by shooting, according to Plainfield police.
Officers determined that a vehicle had driven past a home and someone inside fired two or three shots, striking the residence, a statement from police said.
The vehicle was described as a silver Mitsubishi Endeavor SUV.
On Sunday, about 6:25 a.m., police were called to the same home for another drive-by shooting. Once again, a vehicle drove past and someone inside fired two or three shots, striking the home, police said.
This time the vehicle was a white Chevrolet Equinox SUV.
