(CNN) — “El Chapo” was transferred from an Altiplano, Mexico, prison to a prison in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, Saturday morning, a senior Mexican law enforcement source told CNN’s Nick Valencia.
“Due to the proximity (to the U.S.), it makes it easier to extradite him,” the official told CNN.
