(CHICAGO) The heavy rain threat continues for areas along and south of I-80 through the rest of the Fourth of July holiday. While there is a slight chance for a stray shower or two for Chicago, the best concentration for showers and storms are south. Staying dry for the Northern suburbs through Tuesday.
Today |Mostly cloudy. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. A better chance for showers and heavy rainfall for areas along and south of I-80. High 74F. Winds ESE at 10 to 15 mph.
Tonight |A few clouds. Chance for a stray shower with a better concentration south. Low 63F. Winds E at 10 to 15 mph.
July 4th |Times of sun and clouds. Slight chance for a stray shower. Highs in the upper 70s and lows in the low 60s.
Tuesday|Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 80s and lows in the upper 60s.
Wednesday|Thunderstorms developing in the afternoon. Highs in the low 90s and lows in the low 70s.
Thursday|Morning showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the low 90s.
