(CHICAGO) IDOT has just announced the final beam installation to support the bridge deck of the flyover ramp for the Jane Byrne Interchange. The ramp, linking the inbound Dan Ryan to the Eisenhower Expressway, will be completed with this final project on Sunday, August 7. The departments says that the project will only last the one day.
– The ramp from the inbound Kennedy Expressway (southbound Interstate 90/94) to the outbound Eisenhower Expressway (westbound Interstate 290) will be closed from Jackson Street to Halsted Street until 10 a.m. Sunday. A posted detour will direct traffic to continue on the outbound Dan Ryan (southbound Interstate 90/94) and take the Taylor Street exit to Roosevelt Road. Motorists should travel west on Roosevelt Road, north on Ashland Avenue and west on Van Buren Street to use the Van Buren entrance ramp to the westbound Eisenhower.

A posted detour will direct traffic to exit at Roosevelt Road, travel west on Roosevelt Road, north on Ashland and west on Van Buren Street to use the Van Buren entrance ramp to the westbound Eisenhower.
