CHICAGO — Chris Sale returns from his five-day team suspension tonight as the Chicago White Sox wind up their series against the crosstown rival Chicago Cubs. He takes the roster spot of right-hander Anthony Ranaudo, who was optioned to Class AAA Charlotte following last night’s game. The White Sox scratched Sale from Saturday’s start after he cut up throwback uniforms the team was supposed to wear.
The final game of the so-called “Crosstown Cup” is tonight at Wrigley Field. Broadcast time is 630pm, first pitch at 705pm on WLS-AM 890.
