
(CHICAGO) A woman was rescued after she fell or jumped into the Chicago River downtown Friday afternoon.
The Chicago Police Marine Unit pulled the woman from the river at State and Wacker, Fire Media Affairs said on Twitter about 4:20 p.m.
EMS personnel were checking the woman for injuries at the scene. It was not immediately known if she would be hospitalized.
Witnesses at the scene said the woman fell or jumped from a boat stopped near the shore.
