From KTVQ: A 50-year-old Bozeman man survived an attack by a grizzly bear in southwest Montana on Saturday.
On Saturday morning, the Beaverhead-Deer Lodge National Forest posted the following message:
“ALERT: Bear encounter this morning near the N. Fork of Bear Creek, Madison Range, (Madison Ranger District) resulting in human injury.
No further details at this time.
Hunters be alert in bear country: hunt in pairs, carry bear spray.”
“Yeah life sucks in bear country,” Todd Orr said wryly with his face covered in blood.
