Romney Campaigns for Kirk

(CHICAGO) 2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney was in Chicago Wednesday, campaigning for Senator Mark Kirk and it gave us a chance to ask about the future of his Republican party.

Our 2 party system seems more like a 1 party system in this crazy cycle.
So, what does the Grand Old Party need to do after the election, to be grand again? I asked Mitt Romney Wednesday when he was in town for Mark Kirk.
“Look, the only way you win is  by having minorities, and women and young people – millennials, and seniors feel that your party is the party that cares for them and we do, and I do, the senator does – that’s why he was elected here as United States Senator.  That’s why he will be  reelected, in my view,” said Romney.
That’s candor from the candidate who famously told supporters in 2012 that it wasn’t his job to worry about the 47% of Americans who would vote for Obama no matter what.
