Chicago buses, trains redecorated to celebrate Cubs’ victory

(CHICAGO) Chicago’s celebration of the Cubs’ World Series victory is continuing with the decking out of buses and trains with the team’s logo and colors.

On Monday, the buses serving the line that passes Wrigley Field will feature the blue “W” and a Cubs logo down the side. Four train cars on the Red Line, which also serves the ballpark, will get the same treatment.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel said in a statement he wants to “further showcase our city” by celebrating with our residents and giving CTA riders the chance to continue savoring the victory.

The train and the buses will sport Cubs colors for a week.

The Cubs last week defeated the Cleveland Indians in seven games for their first World Series title in 108 years.
