(CHICAGO) In state politics, Bill Cameron says there’s a new flap between the new comptroller Democrat Susanna Mendoza and the outgoing Republican comptroller she beat — Leslie Munger. It all started when Mendoza told WLS-AM’s “Connected to Chicago” program that Munger left her offices with documents, furniture and vehicles missing.
“It did kind of feel like the place was looted,” said Mendoza.
Munger now tells WLS-AM 890 everything’s accounted for and Mendoza needs to cut it out.
“She lied about me everywhere – throughout the entire campaign, she took my words out of context, and now she’s continuing to
essentially slander me and if she continues it, I will sue her,” said Munger.
Both ladies are on this coming Sunday night’s Connected to Chicago at 7.
