Luis Mateo is a Boxing Hall of Famer who travels from Plainfield to teach kids how to box four times a week to help keep them off the streets. He both lives in Chicago and works for the city as a CTA employee.
Mateo participates in a program called ABO Cares, a program that helps at-risk kids, through the American Boxing Organization.
